MADRID — Taylor Swift is bringing her custom, acoustic set of the Eras Tour to the Spanish capital for two nights in the form of more mashups.
“I try to think of things that will make you happy so let’s see how I did," Swift said, holding her guitar on night one before fusing "Sparks Fly” from "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" with "I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)" from "The Tortured Poets Department.”
She then mixed "I Look in People’s Windows" from "The Tortured Poets Department" with “Snow on the Beach” from “Midnights” on the piano. When she started the track that features Lana Del Rey the crowd let out an ear-shattering scream to which Swift responded mid-piano, “It’s just me, guys.”
Some of Swift's friends were in the audience, however. Actress Blake Lively and the Haim sisters who Swift has previously collaborated and toured with watched from the VIP area on the floor.
